Warranty Claim Procedure

This warranty covers batteries that become unusable or unserviceable due to defects. Battery Rush offer up to 3 years manufacture warranty. The warranty period commences from date of initial purchase. This warranty covers the battery used in the application for which it was intended and charged with an approved charging profile. To make a warranty claim, please contact Battery Rush on 0424 299 970. A technician will be arranged to come out, test and diagnose for a battery replacement

Neuton Power Stop/Start EFB Battery Warranty - 2 Years

Test Result: Replace due to Faulty Battery

Proof of purchase and return of the good(s) in question must accompany any request for warranty. Battery Rush will not accept any battery for warranty; that has not been tested by an authorised Battery Rush technician.

Procedure

  • Your battery will get tested and assessed within 2-3 business days, and will be notified by the outcome by phone or email.

  • We will offer you a replacement/temporary battery while the assessment is being made.

  • Should a battery be deemed defective due to a manufacturing fault and is within its applicable warranty period; it will be replaced with an equivalent battery free of charge.

  • If the warranty has to be exercised, the replacement battery warranty period is not renewed or extended as a result of any warranty replacement, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

  • Warranty is not transferable and is only offered to the original end user of the product.​

  1. Voltage: 13.8V - Means its fully charged

  2. CCA: 622/650

  3. Health: 91%

Overall, this battery still has sufficient life to be able to supply power to the starter motor. There may be other issues to diagnose if the car cannot start.

Test Result: Good Battery - 13.8V

  1. Voltage: 12.36V - Partially discharged battery and needs to be recharged

  2. CCA: 605/650

  3. Health: 86%

Overall, this battery is partially discharged and should be recharged to regain a healthy state of charge. The vehicle may need to be started up more frequently and/or driven more. There may be other issues to diagnose if the car cannot start.

Test Result: Good-Recharge, Battery is partially discharged - 12.36V

Test Result: Unable to Determine - Charge & Retest - 10.6V

  1. Voltage: 10.6V - fully discharged battery and needs a jump start to recharge before re-testing

  2. CCA: 209/680

  3. Health: 9%

Overall, as the battery is fully discharged, a battery test is unable to determine if the battery is faulty or good. Once the battery is recharged, retested, an definite outcome is determined. 

Cost to customer: Call Out Fee $80 (After battery is fully recharged and re-tested, there are two outcomes:

Outcome A) Refundable if battery test shows Faulty Battery

Outcome B) Not refundable if battery test shows Good Battery

Warranty Conditions

Warranty covers the Battery only (product).

Warranty does not cover the delivery and installation charges (roadside call out service).

If a manufacturing defect is not the cause of your battery failure, a call-out and testing fee will apply.

Fees are non-refundable. We may consider a partial refund in exceptional circumstances.

Applications for a refund must be in writing and must clearly outline the reasons.

Any refund will be at the discretion of management and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

After Installation it is customer’s responsibility to inspect the vehicle if he/she feels there is any damage happen during installation, no responsibility will be taken after our technician left the premises where the battery was installed.

We can return the sold item within 3 days of purchased date; if it is in original condition not used but the service call out and any surcharges are non-refundable, also 10% restocking fee will be payable, so please choose the products as you needed. 

 

By purchasing through our company and making the payment you are accepting all above terms.

 

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Loads left on

  • Vehicle storage

  • Physical damage

  • Incorrect application or improper use

  • Battery Removal

  • Improper or over charging

  • Failure arising to the addition of fluids other than distilled water

  • Flat batteries

  • Sulphation

  • Faulty connection, faulty wiring or improper mounting

  • Freezing, fire, explosion

  • Tampering, altering, repairing or modifying batteries and labels

  • Negligence (before or during use)

  • Failure to maintain acid levels

  • Broken or removed vent plugs

  • Where a lower power or downgraded battery has been installed by us on customer’s request.

  • Warranty does not cover discharged batteries or diminishing capacity due to battery age and depth of discharge.

 

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
